What was the best piece of technology you purchased in 2011?
This was a fun experiment last year so I thought we’d do this again.
I’m a little torn with my answer this year. It was the year of the 3DS, I bought a new TV and I decided that physical books just weren’t for me. But despite all that I think the best piece of technology I purchased this year is my HTC Flyer.
Go a head and laugh, the people at my new job certainly are. A 7 inch tablet running Android 2.3? That’s the thing you like best in this world of iPads and Ice Cream Sandwich? Yes. Mock me if you want, but the preloaded Notes app with great stylus integration coupled with Evernote syncing has made the Flyer indispensable to me for work. So laugh if you want, but I like it just fine.
What about you?

My first iPod touch and first Android Smartphone. Both run beautifully, but I must say that my smartphone makes my iPod totally obsolete.
