It’s Thanksgiving.  But, this is also Nerdology, so it’s only appropriate to list the top 5 pieces of technology I’m thankful for.

Laptops - I only became a laptop user about 13 months and now I can’t imagine being without one.  I’m typing this post in my living room…

Xbox Live - I’ve been a Live user since and there’s no going back for me.  New graphics, new consoles, new games are great, don’t get me wrong, but Xbox Live is what makes all my favorite games work better.  I would not love Boarderlands as much as I do if I couldn’t play it online with friends.

iPhone - Though I’ve been dreaming about the Pre recently, my heart (and wallet) will be with the iPhone for a long time.  I’ve had one since day one (yes I waited in line) and It’s really evolved becoming more and more a staple in my everyday life.  I also don’t know how I would have done anything in other states without it.

Canon 7D - Yes, I’ve only had it for a few weeks, but it’s one of the best purchases I’ve made in a while.  It’s really solid, feels good in my hands and all of the controls are extremely logical.

People on tumblr - That’s right, I’m thankful for YOU.  I started Nerdology under a year ago and already have over 1100 followers.  You answer my questions, you read my rants and you point me in the direction of things I would have missed.  You guys are great.
