Hulu Plus

Hulu Plus was just announced by Hulu.  You will soon be getting Hulu on more places than your computer.  Expect it for iPhone, iPad (WiFi or 3G!), Samsung TV’s and Blu-ray players, Sony TV’s and Blu-ray players, Vizio TV’s and Blu-ray players, PS3, and Xbox 360. For 9.99 per month you can watch entire current seasons of TV shows already found on Hulu and with support on iPhone and iPad you can view that content anywhere you are.

Hulu is also giving you access to the back catalogue of older shows like Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Arrested Development.

I’m going to be honest, I was excited for all this before I started writing this post. Netflix already gives me access to a very extensive back catalogue of TV and my DVR can keep me up to date on television this season.  The question it now poses is this, can I drop TV completely now that Hulu Plus Exists.  Having a PS3 in the living room streaming Hulu and Netflix may allow me to drop cable.  Stay tuned…
