Amazon Kindle Tablet: $250, 7-inches, Android-based, available in November?

Prediction: For holiday 2012 Amazon will be giving away Kindle eReaders (what we know today as the Kindle) for free with some kind of promotion. Something like, “spend 1000 dollars at Amazon between October 1st and Christmas and get a Kindle for free.”

If they are planning to sell a full fledged Android tablet for $250 an eReader at 114 is too expensive.  I’ll bet it drops to $99 or even $75 this year and then free next year with the aforementioned promotion.

Amazon hasn’t announced anything.  This is all based on rumors.  But Amazon has laid the groundwork already with a video store, music store and an Android app store.  It’s very likely that an Amazon is coming, we just don’t know when.
