I started color coding my stars in Gmail. Now each project I’m working on has it’s own color for important emails / things I know I’m going to need to reference. This changed my world today.
Also, I switched to priority inbox last spring and now I can never go back. Give that a shot if you haven’t yet.
Mailspike monitors and blocks email spammers around the world. They have a feature on their site where you can watch them actively Id-ing spammers. Pretty awesome. From the Mailspike website:
Mailspike Reputation Services empowers your organization to identify and block known spammers.
This service is intended to provide all receivers and reputation providers a baseline of data to help block the senders with the worst reputations.
All IP addresses listed on in our service are being continually monitored and the list is updated frequently.

Going through spam I try and remove myself from as many lists as I can. This screen was particularly funny. After clicking the ‘remove’ button in the email I wonder how many people then have second thoughts…
Saw this on Matt’s tumblr. I re-laid it out to better serve the tumblr community.
Google Tests “Undo Send” Function
Ever type half a thought and then hit “send” but then realize you probably shouldn’t have sent it? It’s happened to all of us. Luckily for Gmail users you can now “Undo Send.” Just go to Settings -> Labs and turn on “Undo Send.”
This feature gives you 5 seconds to stop the sending of an email. It’s a really cool idea, that will definitely come in handy. Actually if you take a look at the Labs section there’s a ton of cool stuff you can turn on.
